How Online Tutoring Works
Online tutoring with The Math Advantage is personal, interactive, and straightforward. Students see and speak with their tutor during their Google Meet session while following math written live on a shared iPad screen.
Homework & Test Prep Tutoring
Recurring Weekly Support
$65
/hour
For students working through their current math classes. Sessions may include homework support, explanations of classroom concepts, additional examples, and review for quizzes or tests.
Best for: Students who want steady support with the material they are learning in school.
Supplemental Math Support
Recurring Weekly Support
$70
/hour
For students who benefit from a more deliberate plan to strengthen particular skills. Sessions include targeted explanations, tutor-prepared examples, and additional practice to build a stronger foundation over time.
Best for: Public-school or homeschool students who need more structured skill development beyond current assignments.
When Available
Supplemental Math Support
$80/hour
Limited one-time appointments may be offered for specific school math tests when the schedule allows. Please share relevant study guides, class notes, or review materials about 48 hours ahead whenever possible.
A Consistent Time Makes A Difference
Most families reserve a recurring weekly 60-minute session. Weekly appointments take priority; extra sessions around major school testing periods depend on availability.
The Math Advantage does not currently offer a dedicated SAT/ACT test-preparation program.

Homework & Test Prep follows the student's current classwork. Supplemental Math Support includes more planning and targeted skill-building. We can discuss the appropriate option before enrollment.
